Helping the Church know where to go.

WILSON & NATALIE GEISLER

About 2 billion people still have little or no chance to hear about Jesus from someone in their own community.
This is the next chapter of the work God has been preparing us for.

Read our Story

A New Chapter for Us

God has been preparing us for this work for many years.

We are Wilson and Natalie Geisler. God saved us as adults and then called us to spend our lives helping others know and follow Jesus.
For nearly 20 years, we served through the International Mission Board. We made disciples and helped plant churches in South Asia. We served as ministry leaders in a global city in the Middle East. Most recently, Wilson led global missions research in the United States.
In 2026, God led us back to Texas to be near our aging parents. It was a hard and bittersweet change. We loved the people and ministry we were leaving.
But God was not finished with us. He was opening a new door.

We saw the need…

Millions of people are still waiting.

About one out of every four people on earth lives in a community with little or no access to the gospel.
Many churches and missionaries want to help. But they do not always know where the greatest needs remain. Some also lack clear information in a language they can easily use. As a result, some places receive many workers while other people groups are still overlooked.
They are not overlooked because no one cares.
They are overlooked because many people do not know they are still waiting.

and how Joshua Project meets that need.

Joshua Project helps the Church know where to go.

For more than 30 years, Joshua Project has gathered and shared trusted information about the people and places where the gospel is least known.
Churches use this information to pray.
Missionaries use it to know where to go.
Mission leaders use it to make wise plans.
When the right information reaches the right people, prayer, workers, and support can reach places that might otherwise be missed.

Wilson’s New Role

Wilson helps Joshua Project turn good information into greater action.

Wilson now serves as Joshua Project’s Director of Operations. He helps the ministry’s research, technology, communications, and organizational teams work together.
God has been preparing him for this work throughout his life:

  • As an engineer, he learned to build strong systems.
  • As a software developer, he learned to use technology to solve problems.
  • As a missionary, he learned what workers and churches need.
  • As a research leader, he learned how trusted information can guide ministry.

These experiences now come together in one role: helping Joshua Project serve the global Church more effectively.

It’s how we operate.

We want to make this term count.

When we served in India, we asked ourselves an important question:
If we had only one 3½-year term to leave a lasting impact, what would we do?
That question has guided us ever since.
We call it One-Term Urgency. It means using the time God gives us wisely and building work that can continue and multiply through others.
Jesus modeled this kind of urgency: during a few short years of public ministry, He invested deeply in disciples who would carry His mission forward after He returned to the Father.
Our first term runs through January 2030. During this term, Wilson will help strengthen Joshua Project, place trusted information into more hands and languages, and help churches and leaders focus on people who are still waiting to hear the gospel.

We need your help.

Will you join us?

We cannot do this work alone.
Natalie and I are asking God to build a team of people who will:

  • Pray for us and the ministry.
  • Encourage us and stay connected.
  • Give monthly or through special gifts.
  • Introduce us to others who may care about this work.

We are inviting partners to stand with us through January 2030 – one full ministry term.
Would you allow us to share the full story with you?
